Diane Lotny
Born in New York City, Harlem USA and raised in The Bronx, Diane was grabbed by the sounds of the day, SOUL SOUL SOUL … that Motown Stuff was killin’ me! I loved it.
It was WABC Radio in NYC, American Bandstand, Soul Train, which were some of the backdrops to her musical education. Music had her by the throat and it was The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Ike & Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Joe Cocker and Sly and the Family Stone.
Diane has played with most the musical heavies of the NY and LA music scene for years, touring through out the U.S. and Europe. Today, Diane’s songs have been used for TV and film, and she tours and performs around the NY and LA club scene. She propels herself from the cradle of timeless roots music, to a Soul, Rock and R & B flavor grounded in the eclectic pace of city life. She delivers her performances passionate, and heartfelt, with a power and vocal clarity reminiscent of the days when powerhouse divas ruled.
She is a Singer, Songwriter and she is urban to the core.
